Henry Winkler gets honorary OBE for helping dyslexic children in UK

actor who played the Fonz in Happy Days Travel on the learning difficulties of British schools, based on his own experience

stars Henry Winkler Happy Days made a honorary OBE for his work on dyslexia in the UK.

actor and director who played the Fonz in the comedy classic American, said it was "humiliating" to receive this honor, awarded to the British Embassy in Washington DC.

After being diagnosed with dyslexia as an adult, Winkler toured schools in the UK in the last two years to discuss the learning difficulties.

also wrote children's books about Hank Zipzer, a child with dyslexia, whose experiences are based on the struggles of the actor's own childhood.
