Matilda - review

Cambridge Theatre, London

Those who think the West End is always a brutalization and intelligent music is an oxymoron must stay behind the evil Miss Trunchbull detention

writer Dennis Kelly and composer and lyricist Tim Minchin go to the top of the class with this anarchy joyful, joyful musical adaptation and ingenious villain of the story by Roald Dahl about a girl, Matilda, played by Kerry Ingram , which makes fun of Dickens and Dostoevsky than other children to eat sweets.

Unfortunately for the beautiful doll, her parents drinking TV that it is just a germ of a rupture. Mom knows that her daughter is the most intelligent argument, however, to control the population. Dad thinks you do not have to be smart if you can sell.

This addition chic and ultimately touching, West End, proves him wrong. That learning is with pride and ingenuity, but a call box office doubt: it is likely to CSR for the next 25 years, he made Les Mis over the past 25

Everyone have a good time is evident in every performance, especially children who are phenomenal. Nowhere is this more evident than in Bertie Carvel show-stopping turn as Miss Trunchbull. Imagine a parody of King Herod steroids with chest forward is implemented as a weapon of mass destruction to kill small children in 100 steps. This is a night of pure ecstasy. As Matilda said. "You could have heard a fly burp"
