How many children can read, write and calculate the level which is supposed to do? Latest figures show that 67% can - leaving a third of children are excluded and one in ten children leave primary school reading one of seven

Some regional results:

. Richmond upon Thames has the best result for the English boys, with 86% achieving level 4. The city also has 93% of girls who reach this level. This is the level of liaison with Richmond Cheshire in reading, where 88% of children achieved Level 4

. The lowest figures reading to children in the Isle of Wight and Rotherham, with only 67% and 69% respectively, reaching Level 4
. The Isle of Wight also has the lowest scores for the writing - only 55% of men and 76% of girls achieving Level 4

. It is the worst place for mathematics - 68% of children achieving Level 4 and 70% of girls. It is followed by Medway in Kent, with 72% and 74%.
. The best place for mathematics is Richmond upon Thames, once again, followed by Trafford

. Derby, Nottingham and Manchester have the highest percentages of children under Level 2 in English. 11% of men and 6% of girls in each municipality, as in this category
