Ohio woman admits keeping granddaughter in barricaded bathroom

an Ohio woman has admitted keeping his nine-year-old granddaughter in a barricaded bathroom when she was not at school.

• prosecutors say 50-year rivae Hart, Dayton, pleaded guilty to kidnapping and endangering the children on Friday. The charges are punishable by nine months to three years in prison.

Hart and her husband, Brian Hart, were the guardians of the girl since 2004. They were charged with kidnapping and child in danger, with a trial scheduled for April 16.

Authorities say the girl was kept in a small swimming area blocked by the windows stacked and rarely allowed for several years. Police said Hart told the girl to be limited due to behavioral problems.
