Stranded (Review, July 19). I wanted to see what all the fuss, but he also sounded like a good story. I cried, I laughed - I went through every emotion. Teenage mothers with their cigarettes and the kids cry and that was the first time the public really relaxed and responded with huge applause. The elderly in their scooters enjoyed his free time and moving love song between the two was a time tearing. So much was going on! Tenor - Mark Brocq - was incredible. She sang with a clarity, emotional, and was on scene through the answer to everything that was happening. The "special" group were so involved and powerful. Father, mother and teacher were good numbers, but it was difficult to distinguish from other professionals.
some great people, and talk to others later, I realized how much production was meant for the people of Bridgeport. The following comments: "I can not think that we can agree with this" and "We had a fantastic time." All classes were represented. In the morning we walked around the city and I see the same characters in the production. Gulls (gathering food by tourists), intimidating young people with their hoods and baseball caps, the elderly with their joie de vivre and scooters, noisy children and their costumes, young mothers and their strollers, dogs and those who misbehave owners. They were all there to see. I can only hope that this excellent production is played in many cities.
The message of tolerance should be done across the country. Harvey Brough and Lee Hall should be proud of their work and the recent controversy shows how important it is.
